At Dooley Cards, we believe art can meet people where words fall short.

We are a veteran-partnership greeting card company founded by artists Roni and Mike Dooley. Rooted in service and shaped by creativity, we create mental health greeting cards and fine art that offer comfort, foster mindfulness, and remind people they are not alone.

Our Mission

Making It Easy to Show Up for Someone You Love

Our mission is simple and deeply human: to make it quick, easy, and meaningful to send support to someone who needs it.

Life doesn’t always call for balloons and confetti. Sometimes it calls for presence. For reassurance. For a quiet “I see you” when someone is navigating anxiety, illness, grief, or a season that feels heavy.

Dooley Cards exist for those moments.

More than birthday wishes or cheerful milestones, our cards are designed for people who are struggling—when you don’t know what to say, but you know you want to show up. With just a few clicks, you can send something tangible, thoughtful, and deeply supportive to someone you care about.

Because being there shouldn’t be complicated.

From Service to Studio

A Veteran-Partnership Built on Purpose

Dooley Cards is more than a creative business—it is a veteran-partnership built on a foundation of service.

As a military couple, teamwork, resilience, and showing up for others were woven into our lives long before we picked up a paintbrush or a camera. Those same values guide everything we create today.

We understand the unique challenges faced by veterans, caregivers, and anyone navigating life’s unseen battles. We don’t just sell cards—we continue our service through art.

Why Mental Health Greeting Cards?

Most card companies focus on celebrations and milestones. We focus on the spaces in between.

Dooley Cards were born from lived experience. Navigating our own health challenges taught us that a simple “thinking of you” can be more than paper—it can be a lifeline.

Our cards are intentionally created for:

  • Anxiety Support – Visual calm for racing thoughts
  • Mindfulness & Meditation – Imagery that invites pause and breath
  • Encouragement During Hard Times – Honest, gentle support for grief, depression, or overwhelm

These are the moments people remember.

Art as Mindfulness

The Dooley Approach

For us, creating art is a form of mindfulness and healing. It is how we slow down, process emotion, and reclaim calm.

  • Roni’s Art
Hand-painted with warmth and whimsy, Roni’s work captures the human touch mass-produced cards often miss. Her designs feel like visual hugs—soft, expressive, and full of heart.
  • Mike’s Photography
Mike’s photography draws from the quiet power of the natural world. Seascapes and landscapes become moments of stillness, inviting the viewer to breathe deeply and find peace.

Each card is created with intention—so the comfort we feel while creating it is passed directly to the person receiving it.

What Makes Dooley Cards Different?

How does art support mental health?
Art acts as a visual anchor. Our designs use calming imagery, nature, and thoughtful color to help lower stress and encourage emotional grounding.

Are your cards mass-produced?
No. Every Dooley Card features original artwork—painted by Roni or photographed by Mike. Authentic connection begins with authentic creation.

Why send a mental health-focused card?
In a digital world, a physical card becomes a lasting reminder of presence. It says, “You matter enough for me to pause and send this.”

Meet the Artists

A Partnership Forged in Service

Behind every Dooley Card is a husband-and-wife veteran team dedicated to healing through art. After years of serving our country, we now serve individuals navigating their own personal frontlines—anxiety, illness, grief, and change.

We don’t just design these cards. We live the experiences that inspire them.

Painter of mental health greeting cards, Roni Dooley is a US Air Force Veteran and a talented painter.

Roni’s work celebrates warmth, whimsy, and compassion. After her time in service, she discovered that painting allowed her to communicate care when words weren’t enough. Her art is textured, vibrant, and intentionally comforting.
